Duties
- Greet guests with a friendly, positive attitude and assist with seating arrangements
- Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Answer incoming phone calls with professionalism, providing information and managing guest inquiries
- Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to optimize table turnover and guest flow
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area
- Provide exceptional guest services by addressing questions, concerns, or special requests promptly
- Support overall restaurant operations by assisting with guest relations and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their visit
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a Host or Hostess in food service or restaurant environments preferred
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette and guest interaction
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
- Experience in hospitality, hotel, or guest services enhances your ability to excel in this role
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining a positive attitude
- Excellent guest relations skills with a focus on hospitality and service excellence
- Previous experience serving or working in food service is a plus
