Job Summary
This position is advertised from the minimum to the mid-point hourly rate. Salary will be determined based on education and experience at the time of offer.
Under close supervision, performs administrative, office and/or clerical work of moderate difficulty. This position has department specific responsibility.
Nature of Work
Receives, sorts, indexes, files, and retrieves forms, correspondence, and documents; enters data into computer;formats, composes and types documents and reports from written draft and transcription; may take abbreviated notes of meetings;compiles reports and summaries of work;checks and completes records, forms, and documents;develops and maintains office records and files;receives, and responds to correspondence and operates a variety of office machines;answers routine and extraordinary questions from the public;prepares and processes confidential and sensitive documents;assists in preparing statistical and financial reports in the preparation, control, and management of the office budget;reconciles invoices and prepares and submits requisitions for accounts payable;prepares monthly deposits, assists with payroll;coordinates and schedules the office’s eviction calendar;assists with training department staff in the absence of the supervisor;regular and reliable attendance is required;performs other duties as assigned.
Experience and Education
Skill in effectively dealing with public inquiries; making arithmetic computations with speed and accuracy; maintaining records and preparing reports; the operation of various office machines/equipment; following written and verbal instructions.
Education, Experience, Certifications and Licenses Required:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent; plus, coursework in general office procedures AND three (3) years of office work experience; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience; preferred keying skill of at least 50 WPM; special Requirements: Requires successful completion of a background check.

Plan Option 1: Preferred Provider Option A (PPO) or PPO A 1100 deductible. Employees who participate in the "Wellness Incentive" will receive a $30 monthly premium reduction by completing three steps.

Employer contributes a total of $800.04 to employees Health Savings Account. If employees select Employee only and participate in the “ Wellness Incentive” employees can receive up to 360.00 contribution to a Limited Purpose FSA card to be used for medical or dental purposes.
Southwest Service Administrator (SSA) Mexico PPO Health Plan: SSA is available to employees who are enrolled in YCEBT Medical PPO Plan A and PPO Plan B. The SSA Plan pays 100% of hospital, medical, laboratory and prescription drug benefits, to a maximum of $5,000 per person per calendar year ($10,000 for two or more family members).
