Duties
- Implement age-appropriate lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and a love for Jesus. Classroom size: 10-12 students.
- Create a nurturing classroom atmosphere that encourages social-emotional growth, positive behavior management, and active participation from all students.
- Utilize specialized skills in special education and early intervention to support children with diverse learning needs and ensure inclusive educational experiences.
- Manage classroom activities effectively, maintaining organization and discipline while fostering independence and curiosity among preschoolers.
- Conduct assessments aligned to monitor progress and tailor instruction accordingly.
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to support each child's welfare, developmental milestones, and educational goals.
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in preschool settings or daycare environments is essential; private school experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles, including early intervention strategies and child welfare practices.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with families and team members while maintaining a positive learning environment.
- Experience with teaching physical education activities and integrating literacy and math instruction into daily routines.
- Degree, certification, credentials or training are highly desirable.

Pay: Up to $20.00 per hour
