The Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation is a Tribal health care organization, serving nearly 30,000 people living across rural, southwest Alaska in villages with populations from about 10 to more than 1,000. Bethel, the regional hub and location of the only hospital in the region, has a population of nearly 7,000. The Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta is home to thousands of lakes and two primary rivers—the Kuskokwim and Yukon.

Position Summary
Teaches basic life support, first aid and related emergency courses and prepares all associated paperwork and reports for classes. Helps fulfill the responsibilities of the Regional EMS Office. Promotes public awareness of injury prevention and participates in direct interventions to prevent injuries from occurring.

Position Qualifications
- Minimum Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum Experience: Prior experience instructing or teaching, familiar with the State EMS system.
- License, Certification and Registration: Current CPR/First Aid, EMT1 or higher.
- Equipment/Tools/Word-Aids: Knowledge of EMS equipment
- Specialized Knowledge/Skills: Good human relations, excellent oral/written communications, and a working knowledge of computers.
