To learn more about our innovative school visit our websitewww.yumingschool.org.RESPONSIBILITIESUnder the direction of the School Principal, the ECP Site Manager is responsible for the overall planning, implementation, and daily management of the Extended Care Program (ECP) at their school site. This includes supervising staff, ensuring high-quality programming, and maintaining consistent communication with families. The following is a list of key responsibilities. Other duties may be assigned as needed.Program Leadership & OversightOversee overall ECP program operations at the school site, including scheduling, planning, and coordination of daily activities in partnership with the Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELOP) ManagerCoordinate the use of classrooms and shared spaces for ECP, enrichment, and other after school programmingPerform other related duties as assignedStaff Supervision & SupportSupervise, coach, and support ECP staff in delivering engaging, developmentally appropriate academic, enrichment, and recreational programmingCommunicate effectively and professionally with ECP staff, Principal, ELOP Manager, enrichment providers, and familiesFamily & Community EngagementServe as the primary point of contact for parents and guardians, providing regular updates about the program and student experienceCollaborate with school-day staff to support student behavior and continuity of care, particularly when behavioral challenges extend into the after school programStudent Support & CultureEnsure a safe and supportive environment for students and staffFoster an inclusive and supportive environment for a diverse student population, using restorative practices and culturally responsive approaches to build community and address behaviorOperations & AdministrationMaintain and order site supplies and equipment as neededKeep accurate and up-to-date records, including student attendance, snack sheets, and staff timecardsMonitor and collect late feesMaintain cleanliness and organization of all spaces used during after school hoursResponsible for closing and securing the school site at the end of the dayQUALIFICATIONSHigh school diplomaAssociate or Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is a plusExperience working in camps or afterschool programs in a leadership roleBasic computer skills including Google Suite applicationsAbility to communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally both orally and in writing; fluent in EnglishAbility to speak Spanish, Mandarin, or other secondary language is a plusStrong organizational, time management and multitasking skillsSuperb interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively with individuals from a variety of backgroundsFlexibility and adaptability to change; ability to work in a dynamic, creative, and start-up learning environmentBelief and commitment to Yu Mings mission and core valuesTERMS OF EMPLOYMENT11 Months; Opportunity to work over during school breaks (Summer and October)TIME COMMITMENT180-day school year, 8 student-free professional development days for collaboration with colleagues.
