Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Service Writer to join our growing powersports dealership team. The Service Writer at YPK Motorsports is responsible for most all customer-facing interactions in the service department. This includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
- Answer all incoming service phone calls, emails, texts, and messages, and promptly
respond that business day.
- Greet every customer in person and initiate the service intake process.
- Conduct walk-arounds, basic vehicle inspections, and estimates
- Schedule service appointments and manage the service calendar.
- Schedule and follow up on first service appointments for sales department customers.
- Upsell additional services, maintenance packages, and accessories to customers.
- Perform outbound calls and customer follow-ups, including cold calls to drive service
traffic.
- Make minimum of one social media post per week for the service department.
- Support the service manager by assisting in communication with warranty companies.
- Help document warranty cases thoroughly and accurately.
- Maintain a professional, enthusiastic, and customer-first approach at all times.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
