Operations Coordinator
Youzey Retail is seeking a detail-oriented Operations Coordinator to support the day-to-day management of our website and digital commerce operations. This role is ideal for a focused, organized individual with experience in catalog management, website content updates, and solid written and verbal communication skills. This is a hands-on position on a small team where each member is an integral part of daily operations.
About the Role
The Operations Coordinator plays a key role in keeping our online orders and storefronts accurate, current, and running smoothly — from processing daily orders and maintaining the product catalog to supporting photography, marketing fulfillment, and customer-facing communication.
Key Responsibilities
Ecommerce & Catalog Management
- Process daily orders and support order fulfillment operations
- Create, update, and maintain product content
- Manage catalog data, pricing updates, and periodic product listing updates
Digital Assets & Merchandising
- Organize and maintain the photo library and other digital assets
- Take product photos as needed
- Support cross-functional projects involving multiple teams
Marketing & Customer Support
- Pack and ship marketing materials and samples to prospective customers
- Support social media activity
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to customer service emails
Documentation & Process
- Maintain internal documentation and support ongoing process improvements
- Contribute to documentation for team processes and training
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in ecommerce, website operations, or a related field — or 5 years in a role requiring similar skills
- Experience managing a product/data catalog or similar system where daily maintenance and precise attention to detail is a must
- Highly proficient in MS Office Suite and Shopify, and comfortable learning new software platforms
- Strong proficiency in Excel and photo editing software
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent command of English and a genuine, upbeat approach to customer service
