Summary of the Position:
Lancaster County is seeking a dedicated Mobile Therapist (MT) to provide individualized therapeutic services to children, youth, and families in their homes, schools, and community settings. The Mobile Therapist delivers evidence‑based clinical interventions, completes assessments, and develops treatment plans that support emotional regulation, skill-building, family engagement, and overall mental health stability.
In this role, the MT works collaboratively with families, treatment team members, and community partners to ensure comprehensive, strengths‑based care. The ideal candidate is compassionate, flexible, and skilled in providing therapy in a variety of real‑world environments to meet children and families where they are.
Duties include but not limited to:
- Child and Family Therapy, Treatment Plan Development and Implementation of treatment plans, supervision of staff and case coordination.
Availability for up to 40 hours; flexible hours.
Position offers weekly pay and activity reimbursement.
Qualifications/Requirements:

Master’s degree in a human services field such as counseling, psychology, social work, Applied Behavior Analysis, or a related behavioral health discipline.
- License Required (LSW, LCSW, LPS, or LBSC) to work with children on the Autism Spectrum.
- At least 1 year of experience in behavior modification

Experience providing mental or behavioral health services to children, youth, or young adults is strongly preferred, consistent with IBHS expectations for Individual Services providers.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience using an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system is a plus.
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience with at-risk youth and families
- Knowledge of community resources.
- Position requires insured reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance coverage.
- Bilingual (Spanish speaking) is a plus.
