We are looking for a Speech Language Pathologist to join our team and provide therapy services to pediatric patients as an independent contractor on a PRN or part-time basis. We are looking for availability primarily during after school hours and Saturday however a couple half day mornings might also be needed. The company does not currently offer any employee benefits for this position. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and be able to create individualized treatment plans that meet the needs of each patient. The Speech Language Pathologist will also be responsible for providing patient education and advocating for the rights of children with speech, language, and communication disorders.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in pediatric patients.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for pediatric patients.
- Provide direct therapy to pediatric patients.
- Provide education and support to families of pediatric patients.
- Document progress of pediatric patients in accordance with professional standards.
- Collaborate with other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for pediatric patients.
Pay: $60.00 per hour
