Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our dynamic team serving families. Your Village is a multispecialty practice focused on supporting families through every stage, and we welcome therapists with a variety of clinical interests, including child and adolescent mental health, maternal/paternal mental health, family and couples therapy. Duties and Responsibilities (depending on clinical focus)
- Provide individual, family, and/or couples therapy to children, adolescents, adults, and parents based on your clinical focus and training
- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
- Support parents in understanding and responding to their child’s emotional, behavioral, and developmental needs
- Provide maternal mental health support, including perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, when applicable
- Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation in the electronic health record
- Collaborate with the Your Village multidisciplinary team (including pediatric providers, feeding specialists, sleep specialists, and other clinicians) to ensure coordinated, holistic care
- Communicate effectively with caregivers and, when appropriate, schools and other professionals involved in the client’s care
- Maintain professional, ethical, and legal standards in accordance with licensing board requirements and HIPAA regulations
- Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development
- Contribute to a warm, supportive, and family-centered environment aligned with the mission and values of Your Village
Requirements
- Valid licensure as a Mental Health Therapist or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or equivalent credentialing in your state or jurisdiction.
- Proven experience in psychotherapy modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, or art/dance therapies.
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10 coding systems for accurate diagnosis documentation.
