We’re looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Editorial Assistant to join our team on a freelance, part-time basis.

- Proofread and copyedit articles to ensure they are clear, grammatically correct, and error-free
- Format articles in Google Docs and WordPress with SEO best practices in mind
- Publish articles on our WordPress site, ensuring clean formatting, correct metadata, and internal linking
- Coordinate with writers to clarify edits or deadlines when needed
- Collaborate with our CEO and managing editors to support the publishing pipeline
- Excellent grammar, spelling, and editing skills
- Strong familiarity with SEO principles for online publishing
- Experience using WordPress, Google Docs, and Trello
- A passion for great writing and clean, polished content
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Prior experience in editorial, publishing, or digital media preferred
