Start asap with a probationary period of 60 days. You will begin as Pet Care Specialist and train into Lead. If you are a good fit, the position could become permanent.
Schedule: Full-time or part-time; may include evenings and every other weekend, and holiday.
General Summary:
The Daycare Lead is responsible for all Daycare personnel providing out of this world care for pets. This role supervises staff, provides training and feedback, and resolves care issues at the first point of contact. The Lead also handles or appropriately delegates pet report cards, assessments and other work, and may work alongside Pet Care Specialists on busy days, always remaining encouraging and professional with staff.
You are the right person if you are an encouraging, teaching Leader--and you have a passion for pets!

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Attitude: “Yes, If" not "I Can't". Must be invested in making pets better--period.
Two positive past employer references and must pass a background check.
Experience of at least 60 days as a Your Pet Space Pet Care Specialist
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong math, sales, and client service skills.
Reliable, self-motivated, and independent worker.
Proven leadership and training abilities; team-oriented with solid decision-making skills.
Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
Demonstrated flexibility and resilience in dynamic environments.
Must have IBPSA or equivalent completion certificates in Canine Body Language,
Dog Handling & Equipment, Teaching Canine Basic Behaviors, Customer Service & Management
Must Have IBPSA Certification in Canine Provider and Canine Specialist
(Certifications can be offered once hired).
Work Environment & Physical Demands
Standing, walking, bending, and performing manual dexterity tasks throughout shifts.
Operating personal computers, telephones, calculators, and 2 way radios
Lifting and carrying objects over 40 lbs as needed.
Working in a fast-paced environment with frequent task switching and client interactions.

- Assign/Delegate Duties to Pet Care Specialists in Daycare & quality check their work.
- Review Feeding reports, Snout to Tail Exams and monitor the completion of other forms/notice boards for accuracy of pet care instructions and timely actions.
- Train new Pet Care Specialists, and regularly re-assess Experienced Specialists, using the Training Worksheet to monitor their progress.
- Reach out to General Manager/Owners at any time there is an issue of concern, according to protocols for the day.
- Take Weekly Inventory & recommend new items to Client Services on the 9th and 24th of each month.
- YPS Project Team Assignments such as: improving Daycare customer journey, Daycare retention, Daycare marketing, and communications.
- Model proper procedure usage and a positive attitude.
- Open or close Office or Facility as needed and requested by management
