Job Title: Kitchen and Bath Specialist

Location: Elizabethville, Pennsylvania (Klinger Lumber location)

Reports To: Store Manager or Operations Manager

Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:

• Seeks a motivated and knowledgeable individual for a Kitchen and Bath Sales Specialist role.
• Focuses on providing expert advice, design guidance, and sales support to customers.
• Requires experience in sales, design, and customer service.
• Requires understanding of cabinetry, countertops, fixtures, and remodeling trends.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Assistance:

• Assist customers in selecting kitchen and bath products (cabinetry, countertops, sinks, faucets, etc.).
• Address customer inquiries and concerns, ensuring satisfaction.

Design & Planning:

• Provide design consultations and create functional, aesthetically pleasing layouts using design software or in-store tools.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and project specifications.

Sales & Business Development:

• Prepare and present quotes, estimates, and sales proposals.
• Process orders and coordinate with suppliers and installers.
• Build and maintain relationships with homeowners, contractors, builders, and interior designers.
• Develop and nurture client relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.

Operations & Maintenance:

• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, new products, and sales techniques.
• Maintain an organized showroom and update displays.
• Collaborate with the installation team for smooth project execution.

Qualifications

Experience:

• Prior sales experience in kitchen and bath design, home improvement, or a related field is preferred.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Strong knowledge of cabinetry, countertops, fixtures, and remodeling materials.
• Proficiency in design software (20/20 Design, AutoCAD, or similar) is a plus.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.

Work Environment & Schedule

• Primarily works in a showroom or retail setting.
• May involve occasional on-site visits to customers' homes or project locations.
• The schedule may include weekends and evenings, depending on business needs.
