The Warehouse Operations Associate Is Responsible For
- Safe operation of the pipe cutting saw.
- Remote overhead crane and forklift usage
- Stage or prepare staging of material to be processed
- Preventive maintenance and maintenance of industrial equipment and machinery
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Maintain an accurate list of processed items and quantities
- Communicate with co-workers, customers and vendors when necessary
- Reading shipping paperwork and pulling material for those orders
- Running the pipe threader/grooving machine
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Have some experience in operating a forklift and overhead crane
- Have excellent mechanical and mathematical skills
- Be able to easily read a tape measure, gauges or jigs
- Lift and handle up to 70 pounds
- Have good communication skills
- Put safety first
- Be able to recognize and project issues and be proactive in making corrections
