Key Responsibilities
- Safe operation of a semi-truck and trailer.
- Chaining and tarping loads.
- Daily equipment operation/inspection and reporting problems to supervision.
- Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
- Maintaining an accurate list of processed products and quantities with all deliveries and pick ups.
- Use of a forklift when needed.
- Clear and accurate communication with co-workers, customers and vendors.
- Load security prior to leaving any facility.
- Keep a clean and neat truck.
- 1 year or more of experience operating a semi-truck with trailer.
- 2 year minimum since obtaining CDL license.
- Current, clean CDL Class A driver's license.
- Ability to work independently.
- Physical ability to tarp, chain, perform a lot of moving up and down during a workday.
- Ability to drive in Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
