The Senior Services Transportation Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and coordinating safe and efficient transportation services for tenants, clients, and residents across Levy Gardens, Adult Day Services, and Heritage Manor. This role provides leadership and supervision to drivers, manages scheduling and logistics, and ensures adherence to all transportation policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Duties Include:
- Provide transportation for residents/clients as needed
- Help passengers safely board, exit, and ride in vehicles
- Maintain vehicle readiness (clean, fueled, and safe)
- Coordinate daily transportation schedules and driver routes
- Supervise, train, and support drivers (including ride-alongs)
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, and payroll for drivers
- Manage call-offs and ensure proper coverage
- Ensure all transportation documentation is completed accurately
- Communicate schedules and updates with staff and departments
- Respond to issues such as delays, incidents, or vehicle concerns

Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screening
- Ability to push/pull up to 75 lbs
- Comfortable assisting seniors and individuals with mobility needs
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage schedules and problem-solve on the fly
- Flexible availability
- CPR/First Aid certification
- Defensive Driving or similar training
