What are the responsibilities and job description for the Logistics Coordinator position at NAPA Transportation, Inc.?
As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for executing daily freight assignments and managing load life cycles within a designated region/customer base. Your primary goal is to ensure shipments are covered in a timely and cost-effective manner using qualified carriers that meet NEL’s hiring criteria.
What you’ll do:
- Source & build strong, long-term relationships with carriers.
- Negotiate and hustle to maximize profitability.
- Solve problems in real time and keep freight moving.
- Learn the ins and outs of the logistics industry.
- Be part of NEL’s aggressive growth goals.
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive Base Salary Uncapped Monthly Bonus
Who We're Looking For:
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Previous experience in customer service or sales
- Familiarity with freight brokerage or truckload operations (preferred, not required)
- Ability to work onsite at our Cranberry Township office
- Ability to work a 4 day on, 4 day off rotational schedule that includes evenings and weekends for the first year.
