Head of Social & Creative - YITR (Youngest in the Room) · New York
YITR is the community and culture brand for young founders who are already building. We run events, dinners, a podcast, and a members-only community for the ones who aren’t waiting around.
Based in New York.
We need the person who makes the world see us.
The role
You’re not a social media manager. You own YITR’s entire creative universe — the direction, the content, the campaigns, the aesthetic. You’ll concept ideas, edit short-form video, and build a team around you as we grow. You work directly with the founder and you set the standard.
You are:
• Educated in marketing, communications, or a related field — formally or otherwise
• Plugged into New York’s founder and startup ecosystem. You know the scene.
• Someone who genuinely gets internet culture
• A creative with a real point of view who isn’t afraid to push it
• Fast. Culture moves and you move with it
• A leader who can hire, delegate, and bring people up around you
• Business savvy — you think about revenue, not just aesthetics
• Fluent in AI tools and know how to use them to move faster and smarter
• Well-networked. You know people and people know you.
• Unreasonably ambitious — you’d want to be a member of this community, not just work for it
Qualifications: 2 years in social media, creative direction, or brand marketing. If you’re earlier in your career and don’t have the experience yet — show us a portfolio or put together a campaign concept for YITR and send it over. We care more about the quality of your thinking than your resume.
