Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience with various cutting and machining processes. You will be responsible for operating saws and other machinery to cut materials to specified dimensions while ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
Responsibilities
- Operate saws and related equipment to cut materials according to specifications.
- Perform quality inspections of finished products using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine cutting requirements.
- Maintain equipment by performing regular maintenance checks and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to production schedules.
- Utilize hand tools and fabrication techniques to assist in the assembly of components.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience in manufacturing or machining environments.
- Familiarity with CNC machinery, including CNC laser cutting, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and press brake machines.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
- Proficiency in basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical documentation accurately.
- Experience using precision measuring instruments for quality inspection purposes.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
