The Specialty Program Instructor I will be primarily responsible for providing quality leadership and supervision, in classes, while maintaining a safe, non-competitive environment for YMCA members.
Qualifications:-
Must be at least 18 years of age.

Must have a high school diploma, or equivalent. College degree preferred.

Must have 3-4 years’ experience leading classes and working with adapted programs/special populations is required.

Knowledge of program being instructed and basic biomechanics and class leadership experience required.

Ability to successfully demonstrate motions and skills related to instruction and to verbally provide clear, concise directions.

Completion of all position-specific and required YMCA training within established deadlines.
