Position Overview:
The HR Representative plays a key role in supporting talent acquisition, employee engagement, and core HR operations across the OMS businesses and the broader Young Innovations organization. This role supports full-cycle recruiting, helps drive engagement and recognition initiatives, and manages essential employee lifecycle and administrative HR processes. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, people-focused, and able to balance day-to-day execution with a high level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail.

Who you’ll work with:
- You’ll report directly to the Divisional HR Business Partner and work closely with the broader HR team.
- You’ll partner with OMS managers and supervisors across multiple sites to support hiring, engagement, and employee lifecycle needs.
- You’ll regularly collaborate with employees at all levels of the organization, both on-site and remote.
What You’ll Do:

Talent Acquisition & Recruiting
- Support full-cycle recruiting for a variety of roles across OMS and the broader Young Innovations organization.
- Conduct phone screens, coordinate interviews, manage pre-employment screenings, and help ensure a strong candidate experience.
- Assist with recruiting projects, metrics, and process improvements.

Employee Engagement & Culture
- Serve as the OMS engagement champion, supporting recognition programs and culture initiatives for on-site and remote employees.
- Help plan and execute engagement activities, celebrations, and company-wide initiatives aligned with Young Innovations’ values.
- Act as a go-to HR resource for employee questions and engagement support.

HR Operations & Administration
- Manage onboarding and offboarding activities, employee data updates, and HRIS accuracy.
- Track and follow up on HR administrative projects such as training completion, wellness requirements, benefits enrollment, and policy acknowledgements.
- Support audits, reporting, and day-to-day HR operations while keeping the HRBP informed on progress and priorities.
What You’ll Bring:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- At least one year of heavy recruiting & HR experience strongly preferred with exposure to multiple HR disciplines is a plus.
- Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
- A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to manage competing priorities.
Technical Skills
- Experience using HRIS and applicant tracking systems (Paycom preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Comfort working with HR data, reports, trackers, and basic metrics.
- Familiarity with employment regulations and standard HR compliance practices.
Compensation Range: $60,000 - $75,000
The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target for the position at the time of posting. Within the range, the compensation will be determined based on education/training, skill set, experience, and other organizational needs.
Physical Requirements/Working Locations
Office/Remote Environment
This position is based in an office environment and is primarily sedentary in nature. It requires regular use of standard office equipment, including computers, phones, photocopiers, scanners, filing cabinets, and fax machines. Some roles may involve wearing a headset and sustained computer use for 8 or more hours per day. Employees may be required to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods, and occasional bending, lifting, or carrying items up to 50 pounds may be necessary.
