We are seeking a Workers Compensation Defense Attorney to become a part of our team! You will represent clients in legal proceedings, draft legal documents and advise clients on legal transactions.Candidate must possess excellent communication skills, written and verbal. The ability to attract and generate business is a strong plus. Friendly and collegial work environment. Flexible work schedule available. Negotiate billable hour requirements to allow attorneys the work life balance they desire. Multiple opportunities for bonuses relating to performance and business/client development. We have two (2) openings available as follows:1) Associate Attorney with 4 years workers’ compensation experience. Pay is dependent upon experience and billable hours - hours range from 180 - 235 per month and depending upon desired compensation package. 2) Jr. Associate Attorney with 0-2 years workers’ compensation experience. Attorneys will get direct exposure to clients and receive training to the extent needed, including mentoring from the firm’s experienced attorneys. Pay is dependent on prior experience with workers’ compensation, demonstrated ability, and billable hours desiredQualifications:Previous workers' compensation experienceFamiliarity with various legal documents Strong analytical and problem solving skillsAbility to build rapport with clientsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsApplicant must be in good standing with the California State Bar Association.
Salary : $150,000 - $220,000
