As a Powersports Assembly Technician, you'll play a vital role in bringing powersports machines to life. You'll be responsible for assembling new units out of the crate, performing pre-delivery inspections (PDIs), and ensuring everything is ready for the showroom or customer delivery. Responsibilities
- Uncrate and assemble new motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, snowmobiles, and personal watercraft according to manufacturer specifications.
- Perform thorough pre-delivery inspections to ensure all components are functioning properly and safely.
- Torque bolts to spec, install batteries, fluids, tires, and accessories as required.
- Maintain accurate records of completed assemblies and inspections.
- Troubleshoot and correct basic mechanical or cosmetic issues during the assembly process.
- Assist with setup for events, showroom floor updates, or customer deliveries.
- Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety protocols.
- Communicate with service and sales teams regarding unit readiness, missing parts, or special requests.
- Occasionally assist with basic repairs, accessory installations, or general service work if needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1 years of experience in mechanical assembly, small engine repair, or mechanical experience
- Basic mechanical knowledge and comfort using hand tools, torque wrenches, and power tools.
- Ability to read and interpret service manuals and assembly instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
- Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs and stand for long periods.
- Valid driver’s license & clean driving record required
- Motorcycle Endorsement Required
- Must supply own tools
