Our Young Truck and Trailer location in Logan is actively hiring a Medium Duty Truck Parts Specialist/Trailer Parts Specialist to add to their team! We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Parts Associate with a background in equipment/semis/trailer parts to join our team! The Parts Associate will play a vital role in our dealership''s success by assisting customers with their automotive parts needs, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring efficient operations in our parts department.

Responsibilities
- Assist retail and shop customers in selecting and purchasing parts professionally and efficiently
- Sell parts in person
- over the phone
- or fulfill/pull customer and shop orders
- Maintain punctual attendance and reliable scheduling
- Keep a clean driving record and meet company insurance requirements
- Provide respectful
- courteous communication with all customers and team members
- Safely deliver and pick up parts for designated accounts
- Operate forklifts safely for loading and unloading freight
- Use verbal communication and computer systems effectively
- Maintain organized
- stocked parts inventory and department areas
- Ensure department cleanliness through daily cleaning and upkeep
- Prepare and crate cores for manufacturer return shipments
- Complete additional assigned duties as needed
Qualifications
- Experience with medium-duty truck
- semi
- equipment
- RV
- and trailer parts preferred
- Strong knowledge of parts identification
- numbers
- and inventory systems
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to multitask effectively
- Strong customer service and sales experience preferred
- Proven ability to build rapport in person and over the phone
- Stable work history with solid references
- Minimum 1 year of related parts or sales experience
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently
- Ability to meet deadlines and perform essential job duties successfully
