You Insurance Agency – Garner, North Carolina
Full-Time | In-Office | Weekly Draw Plus Uncapped Commission
You Insurance Agency is seeking a licensed North Carolina Property & Casualty producer who wants more than a traditional insurance sales position.
This is an in-office production and leadership opportunity for someone who wants to help grow an established insurance agency, build a substantial book of business, and earn a path toward management, profit participation, and potential future agency ownership.
The right candidate will receive an initial weekly draw while learning the agency’s systems, developing a pipeline, and building consistent production. Long-term income is driven by sales performance.
Compensation
- $600 weekly training draw during the initial 60-day ramp-up period
- After the initial ramp-up period, the weekly draw becomes recoverable against earned commissions
- Uncapped commission opportunities
- Performance-based bonuses and advancement opportunities
- Compensation and draw eligibility reviewed based on production, activity, attendance, pipeline development, and compliance
- Top performers may become eligible for leadership responsibilities, profit participation, office management, or a defined future ownership pathway
This is a performance-driven sales position. The weekly draw is designed to provide income during the initial ramp-up period while the producer develops a sustainable pipeline and book of business.
Specific commission percentages, production benchmarks, draw terms, and advancement requirements will be provided during the interview process and documented in the compensation agreement.

Primary Responsibilities
- Respond to and follow up with new insurance leads
- Quote and sell personal-lines insurance, including home and auto
- Identify opportunities for life, commercial, umbrella, and supplemental products
- Build referral relationships with mortgage professionals, real estate agents, business owners, and community partners
- Maintain accurate prospect and client activity inside the agency CRM
- Follow established sales, documentation, compliance, and follow-up procedures
- Meet weekly and monthly sales and activity benchmarks
- Assist with client retention, cross-selling, and account development
- Contribute to the growth, culture, and daily operation of the Garner office
- Progress toward leadership and office-management responsibilities based on performance
Non-Negotiable Requirements
- Active North Carolina Property & Casualty insurance license
- Ability to work full-time in our Garner, North Carolina office
- Proven sales ability and strong closing discipline
- Consistent follow-up and a high level of urgency
- Professional communication and client-management skills
- Organized, coachable, accountable, and self-directed
- Comfortable being evaluated against defined production and activity standards
- Ability to satisfy all carrier, background, appointment, and compliance requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- North Carolina Life Insurance License
- Personal-lines insurance production experience
- Existing referral relationships or community connections
- Experience with agency management systems, CRMs, comparative raters, or insurance quoting platforms
- Experience mentoring or managing other producers
- Interest in agency management, business development, or future ownership
