About Us
Yossi's WoodWorx is a custom architectural millwork company specializing in high-end residential, commercial, and institutional projects. We are seeking an experienced Lead Finisher to join our team and oversee the preparation and finishing of custom cabinetry, millwork, furniture, and specialty wood products.
Responsibilities
● Perform and oversee all aspects of wood finishing, including sanding, staining, toning, sealing, painting, and topcoat application.
● Match colors and finishes to approved samples and specifications.
● Ensure all finished products meet company quality standards before shipment.
● Train and mentor finishing department personnel.
● Maintain finishing equipment, spray booths, and tools.
● Monitor material usage and assist with inventory control.
● Coordinate with production and project management teams to meet project schedules.
● Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Qualifications:
● Minimum 5 years of experience in architectural millwork or custom woodworking finishing.
● Extensive knowledge of stains, paints, lacquers, conversion varnishes, and polyurethane finishes.
● Experience operating spray equipment and finishing systems.
● Ability to read shop drawings and finish schedules.
● Strong attention to detail and quality control.
● Leadership experience preferred.
