Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our team at an inpatient adolescent behavioral health treatment center. The ideal candidate will have experience working with adolescents experiencing mental health and behavioral health challenges.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative clinical team with a flexible, four-day workweek.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments for adolescent patients.
- Diagnose and treat psychiatric and behavioral health conditions.
- Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications.
- Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the clinical team.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Qualifications
- Active PMHNP licensure/certification with authorization to practice in Indiana required.
- Experience treating adolescent psychiatric and behavioral health populations strongly preferred.
- Previous inpatient psychiatric or residential treatment experience is a plus.
- Strong clinical assessment, medication management, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary treatment team.
Schedule
- Full-Time | 40 hours per week
- Four 10-hour shifts
- Flexible scheduling with days determined collaboratively.
