Merchandising Specialist
Hyrbid; 2 days/week onsite in Minneapolis
Rate: $20-34/hr W2 benefits
As a Merchandise Specialist supporting categories for in-store and online channels, you'll provide key executional support to the merchandise buying team. You will be integral to new vendor setup and to maintaining item and vendor data across many SKUs. You will proactively communicate on behalf of the department, acting as the liaison for various enterprise and store teams. You will also help coordinate samples and solve problems with supply chain partners to ensure successful product flow through the network.
Responsibilities
- Item set-up
- New item set-up, including POG imaging and dimensions
- Item reactivations, including updates for seasonal items
- Manage Digital Data Integrity
- Ticket management
- Answer store queries
- Answer distribution center escalations
- PO and Item Maintenance
- Update purchase orders
- Item Maintenance (vendors, vendor order points)
- Vendor Set-up & Onboarding
- Sample Management
- Execute and communicate sample requests
Qualifications
• Four-year degree or equivalent work experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
• Detail-oriented multitasker
• High sense of urgency and takes initiative as a self-starter
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
