What are the responsibilities and job description for the Caring Partner position at York Post Acute (SNF)?
Join our team at York Post Acute as a Caring Partner.
This is a PAID training class with classroom and clinical hours on a day shift schedule. Training is accelerated and lasts approximately 6 weeks with rotating weekends for on-the-job training. Full participation is required.
Upon successful completion of the training class, you will be placed at our York post Acute facility located in Yorktown, VA, as a full-time Certified Nurse Aide on one of three shifts. We will also cover the costs associated with registering for the National Nurse Aide Assessment Program exam for state Nurse Aide certification.
The Earn-As-You-Learn program is available at no cost to you with a 12-month education agreement.
The next class date will be January 12th – February 18th and times may vary between 6am-4pm.

Responsibilities of Caring Partner:
Basic resident care under direction of nursing staff.
Perform duties, such as feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, moving residents, or changing linens.
Providing health/supportive services to ensure all resident needs are met
Assist our licensed and certified staff
Tidying resident rooms
Ensure call bells/bed controls in reach
Assist with providing companionship and socialization for residents and patients
Qualifications for Caring Partner:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Speak and understand the English language
Must be willing to work with multiple residents at once
