JV Volleyball Coach

"York High School is seeking a Junior Varsity Volleyball Coach to lead the JV program and support the continued development of student-athletes within a competitive and positive team environment. Responsibilities: Lead and organize all JV practices, matches, and team activities Develop fundamental skills, game understanding, and team systems aligned with the varsity program Prepare athletes for progression to the varsity level Foster a positive, disciplined, and team-oriented culture Collaborate with the varsity coaching staff to ensure program-wide consistency Supervise and coach at matches, including occasional weekend events Qualifications: Volleyball experience (coaching and/or playing background preferred) Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills Ability to teach fundamentals and develop athletes at varying skill levels Availability for practices and matches throughout the season CPR/AED/FIRST AID and required coaching certifications (or willingness to obtain) "
