York General is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) who is passionate about delivering exceptional surgical care close to home in our rural community. In this role, you’ll be part of a skilled surgical team supporting elective and emergent procedures, while providing direct patient care in the Operating Room (OR), Outpatient Surgery (OPS), and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).
- Work-Life Balance: Monday - Friday, 0700-1530, plus call.
- Manageable Call Schedule: 1 day/week, 1 weekend/month, 2 holidays/year.

Deliver direct patient care, including administering medications, IV therapy, and treatments

Assess patient needs, develop individualized care plans, and provide education and support to patients and families

Document all aspects of perioperative care accurately (OPS, OR, PACU, counts, specimens, and charges)

Maintain strict aseptic technique and ensure a safe surgical environment

Monitor and ensure safe use of equipment and supplies for both patients and staff
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Nebraska
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-focused approach
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality care
