The Role
As an OR Registered Nurse, you will be the cornerstone of patient safety and individualized care. You will oversee the surgical experience from start to finish—assessing patient needs, coordinating with surgeons, and ensuring a sterile, efficient environment. We are looking for a teammate who balances technical precision with a high standard of customer service.
Schedule & Flexibility
- Hours: Full-time, 80 hours per pay period (bi-weekly).
- Shift: Four 10-hour shifts per week, Monday through Friday.
- Coverage: Shifts fall between 5:30 AM and 5:30 PM (No weekends or holidays!).
What You’ll Do
- Clinical Excellence: Assess, plan, and evaluate individualized care for surgical patients using established standards.
- Surgical Readiness: Assemble and manage all necessary supplies, instruments, drapes, and sutures for diverse procedures.
- Patient Advocacy: Act as a primary advocate for patient safety and comfort throughout the perioperative process.
- Team Collaboration: Work seamlessly with physicians and staff to maintain a culture of kindness and accountability.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Licensure: Current Nebraska RN license (or Compact State license with intent to obtain NE licensure within 30 days).
- Certifications: Current BLS required; ACLS and PALS must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
- Experience: Previous Operating Room experience is preferred.
