Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough research of public records, GIS (Geographic Information Systems), and other sources to verify property ownership and history
- Analyze title reports to identify liens, encumbrances, or defects that could affect property transfer
- Prepare accurate and complete title commitments, policies, and related documentation for closing processes
- Coordinate escrow activities by managing deposits, disbursements, and closing statements in accordance with legal requirements
- Collaborate with attorneys, lenders, agents, and clients to facilitate timely and accurate closings
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws governing real estate transactions and title processing
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly and professionally throughout the closing process
