Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Part Time Temporary Maintenance Technician to join our team. Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on facilities equipment, HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and building interior components.
- Perform minor repairs using hand tools, electrical equipment, and carpentry skills to address maintenance issues promptly.
- Assist with plumbing system maintenance and repairs, including leak detection and pipe repairs.
- Support maintenance painting projects for residential or facility interiors to uphold aesthetic standards.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations during maintenance activities.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal requests efficiently and professionally.
Requirements
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or related fields such as manufacturing or building operations.
- Strong mechanical knowledge.
- Skilled in using hand tools, electrical equipment repair tools, plumbing tools, and maintenance painting supplies.
- Excellent communication skills to facilitate clear instructions and documentation.
- Supervising or leadership experience is a plus for coordinating tasks or guiding team members.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor including lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces.
- Excellent communication skills while working with our housing team and tenants.
