JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: PART-TIME MAINTENANCE JANITOR
The Maintenance Janitor will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing areas within the plant. This position requires lifting up to 50lbs, using hand-tools, air guns, etc. This is a Part-Time position working from 3pm to 7:00pm Monday to Friday.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform general cleanup of all areas of the building as directed
- Vacuum, sweep and mopping of floors
- Manage routine upkeep of exterior areas, green space and parking lot
- Complete non-routine cleaning according to specified job orders
- Remove garbage and recycling daily from the plant
- Handle emergency cleaning and upkeep requests
- Ensure areas are maintained and fully equipped
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Education and Experience:
- Prior housekeeping skills a plus
Other Qualifications and Equipment Utilization:
Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
