We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Food Service Director to oversee all dietary operations within our nursing home. The Food Service Director is responsible for managing food service staff, ensuring compliance with dietary regulations, maintaining high-quality meal preparation, and providing excellent nutritional services to our residents.

Qualifications

• Previous Food Service Director experience in a healthcare, nursing home, or long-term care setting preferred.
• Knowledge of dietary regulations and food safety standards.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• ServSafe Certification preferred.
  
  
  

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Dietary Department.
• Ensure meals are prepared and served according to resident dietary needs and physician orders.
• Supervise, train, and schedule dietary staff.
• Maintain compliance with state, federal, and infection control regulations.
• Manage food inventory, ordering, and department budget.
• Ensure kitchen sanitation and food safety standards are met.
• Collaborate with Administration and the Registered Dietitian to enhance resident satisfaction.
