Direct Care Staff job requirements:
- Experience necessary, be part of a team as a caregiver for developmentally disabled adults
- Basic cooking knowledge
- Experience with ADL care, transfers and mobility, ROM exercises, and memory care.
- Valid California ID or Driver's License and a social security card
- Able to pass criminal background check and reference check.
- Current CPR certification (can be taken while in training)
- Current TB test and a physical exams
- Must be fully vaccinated with a booster or eligible for an exemption

As a Direct Care Staff member, you will be:
- Assisting residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, meals - all activities of daily living.
- Lifting and transfer of residents who are dependent on wheelchairs using lifts and assistance.
- Medication administration via GTube (after training completed).
- Light housekeeping duties (including laundry).
- Attendance of ongoing training.
- Implementation of therapy objectives.
- Daily documentation.
- Assist with meal preparation, laundry and light housekeeping
