What are the responsibilities and job description for the Host position at Yoki Japanese Restaurant?
Responsibilities:
- Take orders through the phone, pack to-go orders correctly and complete side job.
- Greet guests promptly and warmly as they enter the restaurant.
- Manage reservations and waitlists using the Yelp& Opentable system.
- Escort guests to their tables and present menus.
- Communicate effectively with servers and managers to ensure smooth service flow.
- Answer phone calls, take reservations, and provide information about the restaurant.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host stand and entry area and assist guest inquiries as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service with a friendly, professional attitude at all times.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
