Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly with a friendly and professional demeanor, making them feel valued and comfortable.
- Manage reservation bookings and waitlists using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring accurate tracking of guest flow.
- Coordinate seating arrangements efficiently to optimize table turnover while maintaining guest satisfaction.
- Answer incoming phone calls with courteous phone etiquette, providing information about wait times or reservation options.
- Assist guests with special requests or accommodations to enhance their dining experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area, ensuring a welcoming environment at all times.
- Collaborate closely with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Previous Host or hostess experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Experience with food service operations and familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable.
- Excellent phone etiquette and guest relations skills to handle inquiries professionally.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Hospitality background, including restaurant experience or hotel guest services, is a plus.
