What You Will Be Doing:
- This position is responsible for the completion of all functional requirements making daily use of SAP to accomplish business plans and satisfy all customer requirements.
- The responsibilities are achieved without jeopardizing company values, environmental, with minimal direct supervision, clear and concise verbal and written communications and effective organization of work.
- Performs day-to-day Logistics Operations which includes the accountability for the planning and scheduling of transportation equipment and finished goods inventory in support of the business demand utilizing various reporting databases; SAP, Scale Soft, Lab Manager, and SHIPCSX rail management systems in the successful completion of the job functions.
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Works with Plant Production personnel and Plant Operators
- Effective communication with Truck Carriers and CSX Railroad staff
- Adhere to shipping requirements with Distribution, R&D and Laboratory
- Recommend transportation changes to accommodate customer requirements
- Data entry into computer-based information systems
- Post Goods Invoice (PGI) Truck and Railcar Shipments
- Schedule and prepare Truck and Railcar shipment document packages
- Acts as back-up for truck and railcar coordinator during staff vacation
- Maintain Office Supplies and Materials
- General office supplies
- Material and Product Tags
