About the Role Join Applied Materials as a Shipping & Packaging Specialist supporting a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role plays a key part in ensuring materials are accurately packaged, documented, and shipped to meet production timelines and customer commitments.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute packaging and shipping activities in compliance with Applied Materials specifications
- Prepare materials for shipment using proper methods for Level 3 and Level 3 classifications
- Coordinate with Manufacturing Order (MO) Planners and logistics teams to align shipment schedules with production forecasts and deadlines
- Perform labeling, documentation, and packaging validation to ensure shipment readiness
- Maintain accurate records in SAP and VT02N systems, including packing lists and shipment tracking
- Collaborate with inspection teams to verify part quality, measurements, and readiness for shipment
- Support warehouse operations including staging, material movement, and loading activities
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives such as 6S audits and SPACA assessments
- Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures
- 4 to 6 years of experience in warehousing, shipping, or logistics
- Hands-on experience using SAP for shipping, inventory, or logistics functions
- Solid understanding of packaging, shipping, and documentation processes
- Ability to work in a structured, fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Forklift experience or certification
- Experience in manufacturing or semiconductor environments
- Familiarity with inspection or quality verification processes
