Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of NOC technicians and engineers
- Set performance goals and conduct regular coaching sessions
- Manage shift schedules and on-call rotations for 24/7 coverage
- Oversee real-time monitoring of client networks and systems
- Ensure timely escalation and resolution of network incidents
- Maintain accurate documentation in the ticketing system
- Meet and exceed client SLAs for uptime and issue resolution
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve complex issues
- Develop and refine NOC processes and best practices
- Oversee network maintenance tasks (patching, updates, security)
- Ensure compliance with audit and security requirements
- Bachelor s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5 years of system engineering experience (Windows Server, Linux, VMware, Nutanix, Citrix, Intune)
- Experience with monitoring tools (Zabbix, ControlUp, or similar)
- Proven leadership in a 24/7 technical support environment
- Strong incident management and escalation experience
- Certifications in network security or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) are a plus
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Available via Slack, email, and phone for team and customer support
- Participate in after-hours on-call rotation
- Actively assist with customer issues and team support
- Collaborate with Service Delivery, Professional Services, and Account Managers
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
- Positive, confident, and proactive attitude
- Dependable, flexible, and team-oriented
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Detail-oriented and process-driven
- Ability to manage workload independently and meet deadlines
