NOC Manager

Position: NOC Manager

Compensation: $95,000 - $110,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Overland Park, Kansas

Join a dynamic team as the NOC Manager, where you'll lead and develop a team of talented technicians and engineers. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a 24/7 environment, ensuring the smooth operation of client networks and IT infrastructure. You'll play a crucial role in optimizing processes and managing incidents to deliver top-notch service to customers. This position is based in Overland Park, Kansas, offering a chance to work closely with internal teams, clients, and vendors.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of NOC technicians and engineers
  
• Set performance goals and conduct regular one-on-one meetings
  
• Manage shift schedules and on-call rotations for 24/7 coverage
  
• Oversee real-time monitoring of client networks and systems
  
• Ensure timely identification and resolution of network incidents
  
• Coordinate with other teams for efficient service delivery
  
• Develop and implement NOC processes and best practices
  
• Oversee network maintenance tasks and ensure compliance
  
  
  

  Required Qualifications & Experience:

  
  
  
  
  
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
    
  • 5 years of system engineer experience
    
  • Experience leading technical teams in a 24/7 environment
    
  • Strong background in incident management and problem resolution
    
  • Experience with monitoring tools like Zabbix or ControlUp
    
    
    

    Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

    
    
    
    
    
    • Certifications in network security or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
      
    • Familiarity with virtualization technologies like VMware, Hyper-V
      
    • Understanding of network security principles
