What are the responsibilities and job description for the Materials Coordinator - LA - Weekday Day Shift position at Yoh - A Day & Zimmerman Company?
Scope:
Receive, unpack, check & verify merchandise/product ensuring accuracy.
Utilize handheld RF tools to receive merchandise/products into WMS.
Conduct the following Stock checks, part # verification, Cycle Count, support physical inventory.
Consolidate loads as required Pack, Re-Pack, wrap product for shipping.
Label parts during put away, picking or shipping process.
Pick parts for order fulfillment, shipments, scrap requests, etc.
Ensure orders/shipping materials are accompanied with proper delivery docs: Revised BOL, Manual tag, Packing slip, etc.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures & safety guidelines.
Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or stock items & distribute items to production workers or assembly line.
Always maintain accuracy, provide required reports, measurements, and logs to KPI guidelines.
Expertise utilizing a warehouse ERP inventory system, Excel, shipping, receiving, safety management, materials handling, data entry, reporting, etc.
Required:
Experience in the automotive industry in some fashion. Examples are Collision centers , automotive parts specialist, wholesale parts at dealerships, parts to service, body shop work.
Experienced in positions such as parts advisor, parts specialist, inventory technician, materials handlers, parts coordinator, etc.
Experience focused on collision focused automotive materials handling support Collisions, service writing, body ship repair, etc.
Work closely with Tech to support on status of materials for Collision repairs, placing respective orders, identify blockers/back orders, and help to escalate internally or to suppliers.
Managing the efforts involved in preemptively kitting materials for the body shop to build up assemblies that go on the cars for operational efficiency so managing the inventory will be an aspect as well.
Experience with a DMS (Dealer Management System) CDK, Reynolds and Reynolds, Oracle JDE, Lightspeed, etc. (SAP experience would be great but not required).
Experience with basic supply chain skills, putting together spreadsheets and tables.
Estimated Min Rate: $20.00
Estimated Max Rate: $25.00 depends on work experience.
