Senior Embedded Security Engineer Realtime Platform
The Realtime Platform team is an embedded software team that develops foundational platform software critical to development across the company. The team develops FreeRTOS, SafeRTOS, and bare metal environments for both QM and ASIL applications on a variety of embedded targets including ARM. Projects often impact all levels of the stack from the bootchain to applications and usually require cross-functional collaboration with other engineering teams. We have a strong passion for technical excellence and rigorous compliance with ASPICE and ISO26262. Part of our mandate is to implement the security architecture for our embedded systems.
What you ll do:
? Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of hardware, software and system engineers to ensure the success of our product and its integration along the way.
? Produce high-quality, maintainable code.
? Design, implement and validate core security frameworks, ensuring system integrity from initial hardware bring up through execution
? Work across technology and team boundaries to ease debugging and deliver features from userspace, to kernel, to even lower-level components.
? Assist in implementing other security functions including HSM firmware development for SecureBoot, Security Logging, and Crypto Acceleration.
? Integrate vendor hardware/software solutions (such as HSM interfacing) into Latitude s firmware.
? Assist in testing and integrating other security functions into Latitude s development fleets and production integrations.
What you'll need to succeed:
? Strong embedded software development expertise (RTOS, C )
? Strong familiarity with integrating and using commercial embedded SSL/TLS libraries
? Familiarity with FreeRTOS/SafeRTOS security / chain-of-trust / secure boot concepts
? Embedded HSM firmware development experience with code from a variety of vendors.
? TrustZone configuration and trusted firmware development experience in C
? Certificate/key provisioning flows on-device (store/load/verify/backup/restore)
? Key lifecycle management (generation/import/provisioning/storage/rotation/revocation)
? Security verification and validation experience
