LICENSE(S): Valid Driver’s License, Must Be Insurable.

SCHEDULE: 4-8 Hour Shift, Weekend/Weekdays, On-Call, Special Events On/Off Site

PROPERTY DESCRIPTION: Main Street Downtown Location, 123 Room Hotel, Full Service Restaurant, Bar/Lounge, Indoor Pool and Hot Tub, Multiple Conference/Meeting Rooms, High End Events and Corporate Services, Landscaped Common Areas, Two Parking Lots

Overview:

Perform bartending duties in our on-site lounge, for our full service restaurant, at the hotel portable bar for events and also for off-site catered events throughout central Montana.

Responsibilities:

· Interact pleasantly with patrons, hotel guests and co-workers.

· Provide exceptional service to guests by promptly welcoming and professionally serving guests in an attentive manner, engaging in gracious conversation as time allows.

· Be aware of and educated about all standard bar beverages, exclusive offerings and trends. A genuine interest and passion for creative cocktails, new beer and cider trends is important.

· Anticipate patron needs for both beverages and food, keeping tables and bar area cleared and be aware of all patrons throughout the lounge.

· Maintain a safe and clean environment, ensuring bar and all equipment are clean and fully functional.

· Learn and operate point-of-sale system.

Ideal Experience and Abilities:

· Self-motivated, reliable, honest, with excellent communication.

· Valid Driver’s License, Insurable

· At least 1 year of previous bartending experience.

· Clear and effective communication, both verbal and written.

· Able to accurately count cash, account for transactions, and process payments using company payment and tracking systems.

· Knowledge of operation of all standard bar equipment.

· Awareness, understanding and compliance of state liquor laws, company policies and procedures.

· Ability to stand for long periods of time, lift and carry up to 30lbs, use arms and hands to properly prepare, hold and service various items. Drug and Alcohol dependency issues not welcome. Must be able to pass a background check.

Flexible schedule, able to work weekends and all evenings. Part time hours to start may transition to full time if mutually desired.

Pay: From $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
