What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lawn Care/Landscaping/Snow Removal Professional position at Yoder Brothers Lawn & Snow?
We're looking to hire one individual who is willing to work hard and not afraid to get a little dirty! Here at Yoder Brothers Lawn & Snow, we take tremendous pride in our work and the new crew member that we hire must do the same! 40 to 45 hours a week normally and anything over 40 hours is overtime rate at 1.5. Starting pay is an hourly wage which starts at $18, tops out at $26 and is paid out every Friday. There is health, dental and vision insurance as well as an employee incentive life insurance program with cash bonuses. Crew members will receive 24 hours of vacation which is available after 60 days of employment.
This crew member will be assigned to our lawn care division within our company but will learn the ins and outs of all aspect of this profession. This position will start as a season position and once we know you'd make a great fit and are exactly what we're looking for in a crew member, year round work can be discussed.
Services that will be performed are lawn care, rough and finish grading, hydroseeding, brush hogging, mulch/topsoil/stone installs, bush/tree trimming, landscape design, maintenance and installation, hardscape design and install as well as septic system servicing and installation.
Crew members must be able to: direct and coordinate jobs, operate and understand the basics of landscape, lawn care equipment and snow removal equipment, effectively communicate and work as a team, understand how to perform maintenance on equipment and understand that each job is equally important and must be done to the highest standard.
Minimum requirements include -
1. Valid drivers license
2. Valid Insurance
3. Have reliable transportation to and from work
4. Must be willing to work occasional weekends
5. Pass background and drug test
6. Must have at least 5 years of working for a commercial lawn care/landscaping/snow removal company
