A senior, consulting-minded content operations leader — not a hands-on technical writer. The ideal candidate has spent 7 years in technical documentation / content operations / knowledge management and has personally led a documentation transformation, ideally introducing AI/LLM-assisted authoring and content workflows. They combine deep craft (information architecture, taxonomy, metadata, content lifecycle, governance) with the soft skills to assess a current state, design a future-state operating model, and drive change across Product, Engineering, Support, and Technical Writing. Comfortable working onsite from a Proofpoint US office and ideally already in or near the Pacific/Mountain time zone. Cybersecurity or enterprise-SaaS background is a strong differentiator
