This role requires strong analytical skills, leadership experience, and knowledge of supply chain technologies and AI-driven logistics solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage LTL freight operations, carrier negotiations, and lane optimization.
- Oversee 3PL partnerships, warehouse operations, and inbound/import logistics.
- Drive cost reduction initiatives while maintaining service quality.
- Lead logistics and operational integration activities during mergers or expansions.
- Analyze operational data to improve supply chain efficiency and performance.
- Implement technology and AI tools for logistics automation and forecasting.
- Manage vendor and carrier relationships and negotiate contracts.
- Support cross-border logistics operations across the US, Canada, and Mexico.
- Travel regularly to subsidiary and operational locations across the US.
