What are the responsibilities and job description for the Network Engineer (ONLY LOCALS) position at Yochana?
Provide onsite support for Layer 2/3 networking across multiple IDFs/MDFs.
Troubleshoot switching, routing, VLANs, STP, trunking, and general connectivity issues.
Assist with network changes, firmware updates, and hardware installations (rack/stack, cabling, labeling).
Support routing protocols (OSPF/BGP basics), ACLs, QoS, and segmentation best practices.
Help maintain network documentation, diagrams, and inventory.
Provide real-time troubleshooting during events, including weekend and Sunday coverage.
Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, and network security fundamentals.
Hands-on experience in enterprise network environments.
Ability to work onsite in IDF/MDF rooms and handle physical equipment.
Availability for weekend and Sunday shifts based on event schedules.
Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
